About This Overlook
Horseshoe Bend is an iconic meander of the Colorado River located near Page, Arizona. The river makes a dramatic 270-degree turn around a massive sandstone fin, creating one of the most photographed landscapes in the American Southwest. The overlook sits 1,000 feet above the river, providing vertigo-inducing views straight down to the emerald-green waters below. A 1.5-mile round-trip trail leads from the parking area to the overlook.
