About This Overlook
Skyline Drive runs 105 miles along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains through Shenandoah National Park, offering 75 scenic overlooks along its length. The road was constructed during the Great Depression as a public works project and provides stunning views of the Shenandoah Valley to the west and the Piedmont region to the east.
