About This Overlook
Oxbow Bend is one of the most photographed locations in Grand Teton National Park, famous for its mirror-like reflections of Mount Moran in the calm waters of the Snake River. This scenic bend in the river creates perfect conditions for photography, especially at sunrise when the Tetons are reflected in the still water. The area is also prime wildlife habitat, with frequent sightings of moose, bald eagles, osprey, and river otters.
